Boost your productivity at the 5 best coworking spaces in Amsterdam
I admit—I was a bit late to this remote work thing. But at least I learned early on how having a dedicated workspace helps ensure productivity for this type of setup. Unfortunately, I didn’t have that at home when I started years ago.
That’s also when a friend told me to check out coworking spaces in Amsterdam instead. I started searching my beloved city for the best spots to work and maybe hold a meeting.
What surprised me most was just how many great coworking spaces Amsterdam has for remote workers like me and anyone needing a nice, comfy workplace. That’s why I thought listing the best I’ve worked on would be helpful.
Trust me, they’re a great start.
How much does it cost to work from a coworking space in Amsterdam? It costs at least €15 to work from a coworking space in Amsterdam. Factors that affect this rate include the type of workspace being rented, length of stay, location, and amenities availed. |
1. Workspace 6

Address: Tussen de Bogen 6, 1013 GM
Contact Details: +31 6 38146117
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 10 AM – 6 PM
- Saturday to Sunday: Closed
Workspace 6 has the standards you’d expect from any good coworking space. It has well-equipped workstations, private meeting rooms, and tables for larger groups. There’s also a mini-library, a fully stocked kitchen, and standing desks for the fitness-conscious.
This coworking space also has a band room—yes, band room!—with guitars, a keyboard, mixers, and more. This is perfect for music enthusiasts and can be used by guests to pass the time during breaks.
Another thing I love about Workspace 6 is that they regularly host social events. For instance, they hold regular communal lunches where entrepreneurs and other professionals enjoy great food and socialise with one another.
Aside from that, they organise viewings, celebrations, and similar group activities. I believe these events are crucial to any good working space because they allow professionals to interact freely and make potentially beneficial connections with others.
However, many have mentioned that they don’t like Workspace 6’s industrial-chic interior. It’s a stark departure from traditional office settings and can be distracting.
Amazing space
“Amazing coworking space! Workspace 6 was my main workspace last year and I was able to both be productive as well as meet lots of kind and interesting people. I tried out many places around Amsterdam before settling on this one and I would not any could not recommend any place higher.”
– Griffin Daly, Google Review
Well-managed and lovely space
“I’ve been at this workspace for a year now and have enjoyed my experience thoroughly. Everyone at Workspace6 is hard working, friendly, and professional. The space is well-managed and in a lovely area close by Centraal Station, making it easy to get to meetings in the center or to invite clients by for a cup of coffee. There’s even a meeting room for those important meetings you need a bit of privacy for. Look no further if you need a community of hard working professionals.”

2. Ruby Luuk Workspaces

Address: Amstelvlietstratt 4, 1096 GG
Contact Details: +31 6 89913212
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 9 AM – 5 PM
- Saturday to Sunday: Closed
Ruby Luuk Workspaces is a luxurious coworking space. My freelancer friends particularly like the well-equipped workstations and always fully stocked kitchen. For me, their soundproofed meeting rooms and secure lockers give them an edge.
But we all agree on one thing: Ruby Luuk’s social space rocks! It’s where guests can take a break, get some great coffee or tea, and mingle with others. It’s also where they host after-work events like readings and workshops almost nightly.
What’s more, membership in Ruby Luuk Workspaces has perks. According to a former colleague, it entitles guests to a 12% discount on Ruby Hotels. It also gives access to Ruby City Guides for insider tips about Amsterdam, and I’m totally on board with that!
However, even with that discount and perk, I find their rates high. If cost is a concern, I highly suggest checking other options on this list.
Clean, inviting, and aesthetically pleasing
“The workspace is an amazing environment to spend the day working! The general area and the workspace itself are clean, inviting and aesthetically pleasing. It’s extremely easy to meet with coworkers or clients, due to the design of the space. The staff are fun and especially friendly. They make sure the area is always stocked and help with all our needs! All of this combined makes a workday just that extra bit better!”

Friendly staff and impeccable organisation
“What a nice workspace!! Highly recommended! We had a great day yesterday with the team at Ruby Luuk. The room we got was very bright, the super friendly staff set everything up as agreed and everything went as planned. Kudos to Federica for the impeccable organization. She was extremely proactive and accommodated in no time also some last min request we had. Also the external catering they work with was healthy and delicious. Thanks Fede and team Ruby Luuk. 3. Amsterdam Coworking

Address: Keizersgracht 391, 1016 EG
Contact Details: +31 20 261 9630
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 9 AM – 5:30 PM
- Saturday to Sunday: Closed
I like that Amsterdam Coworking allows you to rent an individual workspace for only €1.50/hour (€10/day). Many freelancers have shared that this rate is a total steal, and honestly, I can’t blame them.
Amsterdam Coworking also offers a virtual office service. It’s like giving small businesses an address, a business phone, and administrative support—without the hassle of renting an actual office and hiring extra hands.
Even better, they provide an address in a prime business location: Keizersgracht. This adds prestige and credibility, instantly boosting a business’ reputation.
Not only that, the virtual office packages are reasonably priced: €59, €70, and €99. The first two packages are purely virtual (without access to physical facilities), while the third offers 32 hours of use of Amsterdam Coworking’s luxurious workplaces.
However, my primary concern with Amsterdam Coworking is the murmurs of unreliable internet connectivity. Many have shared the same sentiments, and it’s best to put it out there for transparency’s sake.
Another concern is their slow response to inquiries. If you’re trying to schedule a meeting with your team, it’s always best to reach out well in advance.
Beautiful location
“Happy that I was able to register my company in Amsterdam and also they have a really beautiful location! I only use the registration address but I passed by a few times and saw people working there and they also have a nice meeting room.”
– Jaden Blazier, Google Review
Professional and accommodating staff
“Totally recommend. The staff was very professional, attentive and accommodating.I registered with them in less than 24h. The process was easy. Terms and conditions were clear and transparent. I truly appreciate the attentive and friendly service.”

4. Trashure Studio

Address: Gedempt Hamerkanaal 135, 1021 KP
Contact Details: +31 6 81467242
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 9 AM – 7 PM
- Saturday to Sunday: Closed
Trashure Studio is both a design agency and a coworking space. That’s why I’m not surprised that its coworking space is primarily for creatives.
They’re perfect for professionals who want a quiet atmosphere to focus and think. Many graphic artists have mentioned that Trashure maintains a serene vibe by limiting the number of workstations and spreading them out over two floors.
However, the limited number of workstations may also challenge those needing immediate availability and minimise networking opportunities.
Regardless, I value their top-notch amenities. These include high–speed internet, unlimited wireless printing and scanning, and sunlit meeting rooms overlooking the Amsterdam skyline. These amenities feel like a luxury to me!
Trashure also has a fully stocked kitchen. What I love about it is that you can prepare your own food here. It also has various ingredients, allowing guests to prepare their own meals or snacks.
But remember, these impressive features also come with higher rates. The day pass costs €30, and the monthly pass costs €260 to €360, which could sting a little.
Welcoming and inspiring atmosphere
“By far my favorite workspace in Amsterdam. Sincerely love the vibe and people. Booked it many times through CommonGrounds but they offer also membership. I always felt welcomed and inspired being surrounded by the space. You can see there’s a lot of care put into the details. The location is best available by bike. Around the corner is a supermarket for lunch you can prepare in the kitchenette.”
– Daan van der Zwaag, Google Review
Beautiful and tranquil space
“Such a beautiful space that feels ‘buzzy’ and also tranquil at the same time. I was able to focus on my task really well and everyone there is super friendly, but they’re also there to work which makes it a productive environment too. The Trashure team are so welcoming, you feel right at home when you’re there and there is a huge Jumbo around the corner for lunch options and also handy after work. I’ve worked at larger co-working spaces before and this has a special touch.”

5. We Are Trust

Address: Herengracht 294, 1016 BX
Contact Details: +31 20 820 20 30
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8 PM – 10 PM
- Saturday to Sunday: Closed
As I’ve seen, We Are Trust is a premium coworking space. I was particularly impressed by its meeting rooms, which are equipped with modern amenities such as a 65-inch HD screen, a soundbar, an HD camera, and a speaker tracker.
I was also pleasantly surprised by We Are Trust’s friendly, accommodating on-site hosts. They ensure everything goes smoothly and attend to every detail to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. With them around, all you’ll do is work—trust me!
Their food options are also among the best, from croissants to pains au chocolat for a hearty breakfast to lunch made from organic ingredients delivered fresh daily. I mean, there’s no need to stress about what to eat while getting productive.
Unfortunately, their rates might be too steep for many. Meeting rooms cost €495 for half a day (four hours) and €695 for a full day (eight hours). Honestly, these are among the highest rates I’ve seen in the city, so you must look into that if you’re on a tight budget.
Great location with welcoming decor
“Went by the Trust Spaces, couldn’t get enough of the homey feeling. Great location on one if the most beautiful canals of Amsterdam. Easy to access with public transport, car or bike. Very welcoming design and absolutely loved the YOGA studio… definitely highly recommended.”
– Ketija Romanovska, Google Review
An inspiring and pleasant place
“I am so proud to be part of this wonderful community. As a psychodynamic Children & Youth Coach, I was looking for an inspiring, pleasant place to receive my coachees. I found that place at Trust Spaces! There are wonderful coach and workshop rooms, each with a unique name and atmosphere. It is a place where you are surrounded by many inspiring coaches and therapists. Mareille, the owner of this beautiful community, quickly made me feel familiar and safe. There is a very homely atmosphere. A FREEMIBO is organized once a month. Which also creates more connection. What more could you want.”
